The supports are based on the industrial background of the poster, its industrial material, paper,
and its usually industrial manufacturing process. The supports‘ assembly therefore borrows from these
principles. A form is cut mechanically, by using a CAD-technology, from a flat sheet of corrugated cardboard,
which is folded to a sturdy prism-like volume. The spatial structures can be positioned individually or in
groups. The shape makes it possible to place the prisms on all different sides so that an interesting exhibition
can be set up with only two basic elements. The surfaces are so large that they can easily hold variable poster
sizes, and, depending on how they are set up, different surface shapes and sizes can be produced. Another
advantage of the large surfaces is that they allow for sufficient white background. The viewer can focus on the
respective poster since the background of the poster is plain and neutral, free of disturbing visual stimuli
from the surroundings.
